Nikon D90 Black SLR Digital Camera Body Only Review

By Gary DeWitt

The Nikon D90 black SLR body only is a huge stop up from the already great Nikon D80 from the Nikon company. The Nikon D90 has proven to be one of Nikon's all time best selling digital single lens reflex (SLR) cameras over time.

The new sensor (CMOS) on the Nikon D90 single lens reflex is one of the best improved things on this new camera. Nikon claims that it will provide the same quality as the professional level model Nikon D300. The new high density liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor on the Nikon D90 has 920,000 pixels (dots). It is the same high quality screen found on all the Nikon professional offerings.

In addition to taking breathtaking photographs, the Nikon D90 is also able to record video. These movie clips in JPEG format are at a full 24 frames per second. This is movie quality video.

With many people that do action photography, accurate and fast shooting is crucial. With the ability to take 4.5 frames per second of photos, the Nikon D90 is absolutely great for this type of shooting. And combined with the new and improved, faster 11 point autofocus, the photos are stunning.

This camera has several other features that make it easy to use. The ability to add optional GP-1 GPS to give you real time geo-tagging of photographs. Astounding editing built into the camera allows you the photographer to add multiple special effects and image editing before getting the pictures onto you personal computer. The built in image sensor cleanning will keep image degrading dust particles away from the sensor for years of use without maintenance.

The Nikon D90 is an incredible step up in Nikon's evolution as the leading digital SLR producer. Everybody that want to take very high quality pictures should really consider the Nikon D90 black SLR digital camera body only. - 30452
